Analyzing the DNC Voice Vote on God & Jerusalem
This video is an unscientific analysis of the voice vote taken at the 2012 DNC – the Democratic National Convention on September 5th, 2012 regarding putting GOD and Jerusalem back into the Democrat National Platform.
The wave forms presented were produced by the video as televised by ABC News, and are representative only of the audio feed that they themselves received from official DNC sources. In addition, due to the differences in volume, and recorded frequencies apparent between the speaker and the audience, we are forced to assume that all audio was derived a single source – most likely the microphone utilized by the speaker at the time of the vote.
Even if our assumptions are proven false, the comparisons between an individual aye vote, and the following no vote are still legitimate as it is extremely unlikely that the source would be changed in that span of time.
Although the abc News broadcast was responsible for the production of the original video, they are in no way affiliated with, or had anything to do with the comparisons made, technology, creation of, or the conclusions that can be drawn from this video.
BTW: Technology was not really required – It is obvious from simply listening to the original broadcast that a clear majority didn’t exist never mind the 2/3rds required for a change in the platform – but it was amended anyway!
